MR. LITTLE - PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Greensburg Salem Elementary Physical Education Goal:
The goal of the Elementary physical education program in the Greensburg Salem school district is to inspire students to be passionate about being actively engaged in lifelong movement. We will pursue our goal by teaching loco motor skills, individual and team sports, lifelong activities, sportsmanship, and character development throughout the elementary SPARK curriculum.
Spark Curriculum's positive effects on students:
*Academic Achievement
*Increased moderate to vigorous physical activity in students (to over 50% of class time)
*Sport skill development (throw, pass, kick)
*Improved teacher instruction (quantity and quality)
*SPARK effects are lasting (sustainability)
